I have completed both a BSc (Exercise and Sports Science) and BSc Physiotherapy. I am an APA member.
I have over 10 years’ experience in the field of gymnastics both competitively and through coaching. I enjoy all sorts of sports including netball, cricket, surfing and paddle boarding.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, keeping active by exploring the outdoors and coast walks.
I have a passion for health and wellness and in people advocating for one’s own health and wellness. I strive to encourage and guide people, from all walks of life on a pathway that promotes and educates a healthy lifestyle and aims to improve one’s overall quality of life.
I enjoy Next Move as they are passionate about creating a friendly and inviting environment for each person that walks through the door and they really encourage the holistic and well-rounded approach to healthcare that I really value and encourage.
As your physiotherapist my aim is to perform a thorough and well-rounded assessment, in which I aim to identify the cause of your presenting complaint. I will then work with you to create goals specific for you, that aim towards improving your quality of life, both short and long term. With the use of a variety of techniques such as manual therapy (soft tissue release & joint mobilisations) to exercise prescription, a treatment plan is devised to target your problem, taking into account general health and your lifestyle pursuits, with maintenance and prevention long term a high priority.
